“My only regret is not trying Nevro’s HFX sooner,” said Fred, whose two years of pain and restricted mobility were almost immediately relieved when he took Dr. Donald Greco’s suggestion to do an HFX trial in March 2017.

Fred’s pain originated when he took a fall in 2015. “Walking and doing everyday activities was almost impossible because I was in so much pain,” Fred recalled. Neither aspirin, Tramadol or Oxycodone provided enough relief to make it bearable to live with the pain and give him the mobility he wanted.

“I consistently have 80-90% pain relief and no longer have to take pain medication.”

“The trial was like a miracle because the pain relief was so substantial,” Fred said. “Best of all is that since receiving my implant in April 2017, I consistently have 80-90% pain relief and no longer have to take pain medication. I am walking longer distances, have regained the mobility to participate in the everyday activities that most people take for granted and now that I can sit without pain, taken up painting with watercolors.”
